Have you been to Japan in the spring time?
If you have, you might have been fortunate enough to enjoy the wonderful beauty of Cherry Blossom season with all the lovely Sakura petals falling!
If you haven’t seen them before, then this is something you must do in your life time. Better yet, you should especially see them in Naka-Meguro River in Japan.
But incase you couldn’t go this year, here is a video I filmed of my time at Meguro river with my friend Eunice from WishtrendTV.
Beautiful right?!
Not only is the cherry blossom viewing (hanami) great but there also is a small festival atmosphere where you can purchase sakura themed items, food and drinks!
The cherry blossoms at Meguro River is said to be the #1 hanami spot in Tokyo. And this is something I can 100% agree upon after spending 1 week in Tokyo during cherry blossom season!
Of course the cherry blossoms are beautiful no matter what, but the cherry blossoms at Meguro River are just too amazing.
The trees are old and large, forming a canopy over the river. As the wind blows, cherry blossom petals fall from the trees, giving the appearance of snow as they float down into the water of the river!
Basically… it is beautiful and you must go!
But to satisfy you needs even more for cherry blossoms, here are some photos I took while enjoying our hanami at Meguro River.
I would love to go back to Japan next spring to enjoy this beautiful scene again. It really was a wonderful life experience and I was so happy to share it with my good friend!
