COFFEE SHOPS MELBOURNE GIRLS DAY LOOKBOOK

Coffee shops Melbourne, the #1 city in the world for cafe and coffee culture and it couldn’t be more than true! One thing I am ecstatic about since moving to Melbourne city is the abundance of cafes & coffee everywhere… oh and the amazing food!

Cool coffee shops in Melbourne can literally be found on every street, every apartment building and every street corner and they usually are super aesthetically pleasing with a wonderful theme and atmosphere to suit their unique style. One area of Melbourne that is known for having cafes is Chapel Street and the Yarra area. So today my friend Adrianna and I head to a very chic and cozy location for some coffee and brunch,Top Paddock cafe.

One thing I noticed in Melbourne city is that restaurants and cafes are very flexible when it comes to changing seasons and patios. Instead of closing off patio sitting completely in fall and winter, they keep outdoor heaters next to the tables. Allowing guests to sit comfortably outside, making it feel similar to sitting next to a cozy campfire. Where I am from in Canada, I have not seen much of this. As well as in Seoul or Tokyo.

We both got a lovely soy cappuccino which was made to perfection in my opinion! However one thing about Australia and Melbourne city is most places charge $4 AUD for any coffee at coffee shops, these coffee’s usually are not that large in size making it a little on the pricey side to enjoy a good cup of joe. However I have come to the conclusions that you are not only paying for a very well made cup of coffee in the worlds #1 city for coffee, but also the atmosphere of the location as all cafes are very aesthetically pleasing! Adrianna and I easily spent almost 3 hours enjoying our time at this coffee shop!

For brunch I got the salmon dish and swapped out my poached eggs for scrambled which were perfectly whipped/scrambled! While Adrianna got the house specialty! The salmon was perfect with an interesting side a leak infused hash browns and a whipped feta spread on the side! This dish was totally my style!

Watch the vlog to see more of the cafe and live footage of us enjoying our food and our adventures after for the perfect outfit lookbook photos!

After the coffee shops experience we headed out to get some lookbook photos. We headed just down Chapel street to the bridge along the Yarra river for some shots

This bridge made for some great shots! After that we headed just off of Chapel Street to some vintage Apartments South Yarra to get some stunning photos! We originally went there with the intention to see a very fat cat that lives and wanders around the area but unfortunately we did not find him this time!

These apartments are absolutely gorgeous and have a totally different vibe from the surrounding area with a wonderful rich history to them! I literally felt like I was suddenly in a different country!
