SKINMISO SEBUMLESS PORE MASK REVIEW

SKINMISO SEBUMLESS PORE MASK REVIEW - BiiBiiBeauty

Hello loves and welcome to my blog! I am assuming you have arrived here today because you are thinking if the new Skinmiso Sebumless Pore Mask is the right choice for you. Well, today I will be sharing my experience with the Skinmiso Sebumless Pore Mask on my sensitive combination dehydrated acne prone skin! (yes, my skin is indeed all those things…)

Let’s hope into the review!

THE SKINMISO SEBUMLESS PORE MASK

The product claims for this oily skin mask are:

  • Absorbs excess sebum (oil)
  • Exfoliates away dead skin cells
  • Pulls dirt and waste out of the pores
  • Create a softer skin texture

Those are some simple and wonderful claims for a product for oil skin. Although the results list is on the short side, it means this mask has one main purpose, which is to keep the pores clear and clean. Along with the added benefit of exfoliation.

Packaging & Texture

When it comes to the actual product itself, the packaging is one I certainly love. Although aesthetically it is lacking somewhat, it is functional and hygienic as the mask comes in a squeeze tube format, making product extraction very clean and easy. The tube has a clean white appearance with large bold branding, an easy to open cap and small whole for control dispensing of the mask.

The texture of the Skinmiso Sebumless Pore Mask is one I actually am a big fan of! Unlike other clay masks I have tried in the past, the Skinmiso Sebumless Pore Mask has a mouse like texture to it that is light and airy to the touch. Upon application, the mask has a slight cooling sensation on the skin as well as an instant feeling of hydration. This quite honestly surprised me as clay masks usually remove skin hydration. Aside from that, the mask has a very interesting “gritty” texture to it once spread over the skin. These grits are particles of Pearlite, which is the mineral compound this mask is made out of. Instead of standard clays and volcanic clays, the Skinmiso Sebumless Pore Mask uses the mineral Pearlite to gently exfoliate the skin when rubbed, and absorb excess oils and dirt.

Experience & Results

When I applied the mask to my skin, it gave me a very fleeting moment of cooling on the skin, yet at the same time, it felt a bit hydrating. For me, I rather enjoyed the exfoliating factor of the grits. When applying this mask, I like to spread it over the skin, then lightly rub around my face in a circular motion to gently exfoliate my skin. I then leave it on for 15 minutes or until the mask fully dries on my skin. When the mask does dry, it doesn’t crack off or feel tight! Instead, it dries as a silky veil over the skin, without flaking off or pulling on the skin. It rinses off the face extremely easily with just a small amount of water.

For me, I love using this mask after extracting sebum or blackheads. My skin usually swells up and becomes a little inflamed after performing extractions. To make sure my pores are perfectly cleared, I use this mask after, not only does it do a great job to make sure the freshly extracted pores are clear, it also works well to reduce inflammation in my skin! Which is a benefit I was pleasantly surprised to experience! The Skinmiso Sebumless Pore Mask has also provided me with just the right amount of oil control to help reduce excessive oil build up on my skin. However, since I don’t have super oily skin, I only need to do this once a week in the warmer weather to aid in mild oil control.

Overall

For pore tightening and dramatic oil control, I can’t say I saw any significant results, however, for pore cleansing, exfoliating and skin soothing, this mask certainly lived up to its expectations!

I would recommend the Skinmiso Sebumless Pore Mask for those with combination skin who are looking for light oil control, gentle exfoliation and skin calming benefits. If you have very oily skin, you would probably have to use this mask very regularly to get the results you are looking for. This mask is definitely an oily controlling mask best suited for those with mild oil issues and clogged pore troubles.
