VITAMIN C | KLAIRS FRESHLY JUICED VITAMIN DROP SERUM REVIEW

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop ReviewVITAMIN C | KLAIRS FRESHLY JUICED VITAMIN DROP SERUM REVIEW

As someone who frequently suffers from acne breakouts, resulting in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), finding a product that can help prevent those dark spots on skin can be tricky. Whenever my pimples get the best of me and cause scarring, I have learned the best way to treat those spots is with healing and exfoliating products. Which brings us to reviewing the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Serum.

The magic ingredient, vitamin C

Throughout my years of suffering from acne, as well as my research on treatments, I quickly discovered one of the best ingredients for fighting against PIH is Vit C. No, I don’t mean the type you take as a pill, I mean the type you apply to your skin!

Okay… but how does that get rid of acne scars?

What makes the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Serum so ideal for those who suffer from dark spots is the healing and exfoliating effects of the active ingredient, vitamin C. When applied topically, this powerful antioxidant works to gently sloth off dead skin cells while promoting collagen production within the dermis. Thus, resulting in new skin cell generation!

That means, fresh new skin!

What are the product claims?

Sounds pretty good, but what’s it like?

When it comes to the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop serum, it’s packaged in a lovely transparent bottle, which may seem weird for a vitamin C product. Serums with the active ingredient Ascorbic Acid (vit c) generally are stored in a tinted bottle to preserve the ingredients, but the Klairs serum is stabilized to be effectively kept safe in a clear bottle.

As it does not contain a high percentage of vitamin C, it’s okay!

Aside from the bottle, the product is dispensed via a twist-off cap with an eyedropper, which personally is one of my favourite types of packaging for liquid products. This is because it allows for complete control over the amount you dispense onto your skin, limiting wasted product.

How does it feel?

This is where things get interesting! Like most serums and liquids, you would assume it would feel watery, hydrating, or tacky. To my surprise, it doesn’t at all!

It feels like a dry oil!

The serum glides smoothly over the skin, feeling just like a dry oil texture. On that note, I did notice that the product feels as if it’s “getting warm” once it has been applied. This sensation only last several seconds. Apparently, this is normal for the product.

If applied after physically exfoliating the skin, I did notice is can tingle or sting a bit. However, this is normal for any ascorbic acid product. Aside from the texture and feeling, the serum absorbs fairly quickly into the skin, generally within half a minute, which is pretty good.

Do it fade acne scars?

Of course, we all want to know the answer to our biggest question… does it work?!

YES! It really works!

I tested this product on my skin, using it every night for exactly one month. It was tested during an acne breakout, which was quite inflamed to the point when PIH was beginning to develop. After 1 month of continual use, the serum was able to almost completely get rid of acne scars fast!

My skin has never looked this good after an acne break out!

The bonus, I had no irritation from the products! Meaning, no redness, no itching, no hives!

YES, I already have! The Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop serum is my new holy grail acne scar fading product. It’s gentle, effective, and great for daily use… plus it really works!
